Taking perimenopause seriously, with clinical science

I’ve spent over three decades as a registered dietitian, and for the last several years my clinical focus has narrowed to one area: perimenopause and midlife women’s hormonal health.

I created PERI-MAP™, a seven-domain assessment framework, and RESTORE™, a sequenced intervention system, because so many of my patients were told their labs were “normal” while they felt anything but. My work is about taking that dismissal seriously and giving women real, individualized answers grounded in clinical science, not just another wellness checklist.

I hold graduate degrees in nutrition, psychology, and healthcare administration, and I teach nutrition at Johnson & Wales University. I also deliver continuing education for registered dietitians nationally through Dietitian Central and Today’s Dietitian.
